All RODEO project stakeholders gathered at PRECISE’s premises in Peillonnex on September 25, 2018 for a mid-term meeting of the project. This was an opportunity to present the results already obtained, and in particular to discover various prototypes of orbital drilling heads and specialized cutting tools, adaptable to both machining center, robots and cobots.
Participants, including the Topic Leader SAAB, representing the CLEAN SKY 2 program, were able to attend demonstrations of orbital drilling and trochoidal machining in aluminum and hard alloys.
